Knit this year’s Christmas stocking with traditional Fair Isle motive using a worsted weight yarn for a quick knit. We’ve written the pattern with a more rounded toe and heel so that it looks like a perfect sock when hung up!

Yarn: ROWAN Pure Wool Super Wash Worsted.
One ball each of the following colours:
Colour 1: Rich Red 124,
Colour 2: Soft Cream 102
Colour 3: Olive 125 (or Verdant 125, which is a new, darker green shade which wasn’t available when we knitted the stocking)

Needles: One set of 5 dpns size 3.5 mm (U.S. size 4, U.K. size 10) for ribbing and one set of 5 dpns size 4.0 mm (U.S. size 6, UK size 8) for stockinette.

Gauge: 20 stitches, 25 rows = 10 cm (4 inches)

Sizes available: Very oversized. Perfect to stuff gifts!
