Jules is the full version of the pattern Lino’s coat as I’ve been asked so many times to adapt it to different sizes. It is also improved technically, with schematics, finishing details, an option for an i-cord edging, in a wide range of sizes and with a yarn/gauge that will allow easier yarn substitution.

This little cozy coat in garter stitch, will be the main piece of a baby’s outfit, should it be for your baby or as a gift to celebrate a little one’s arrival! It is worked sideways, from one sleeve to the other then sticthes are picked up around the neck to work the hood that is finished by a sweet tassel!

Sizes: 1 mth-3 mths -6 mths [12 mths-18 mths-2 yrs-4 yrs]

Gauge: 17 stitches and 32 rows = 10 cm / 4’’ in garter stitch.

Stitch: Garter stitch: knit all.

Yarn & Notions:

• 3-4-4 [4-5-5-6] skeins of Malabrigo Twist or Cash Aran by Mellifera Yarns (or 400-450-500 [540-570-600-700] meters / 438-493-547 [591-624-657-766] yards or any other aran yarn to accomodate the gauge)
• Circular or straight needles to get gauge (suggested size: 5.5mm/US #9).
• 4 buttons (approx. 20 mm./3/4’’).
• 1 stitch marker.

Jules est la version complète du patron Le Manteau de Lino, après avoir reçu de nombreuses demandes pour qu’il soit adapté en d’autres tailles. Le patron a aussi été amélioré techniquement, avec des schémas, la possibilité de faire une finition en i-cord, des petits détails de finitions et ce, dans un large éventail de tailles et avec un échantillon/choix de laine permettant plus facilement de faire des substitutions.

Ce petit manteau douillet, tout au point mousse, est la pièce maîtresse du trousseau à offrir ou à s’offrir pour l’arrivée d’un tout petit ! Il se tricote d’une manche à l’autre, d’un seul morceau, les mailles sont ensuite relevées autour de l’encolure pour tricoter la capuche qui dévoilera tout son charme parée d’un joli pompon !

• Aiguilles droites ou circulaires nécessaires pour obtenir l’échantillon (taille suggérée : 5,5 mm).

• 1 anneau marqueur.
