Pattern notes:
The instructions are given to work with the “magic loop” method but can be easily adapted to the method you prefer.
Sock is worked from toe to cuff, and features a German short row heel.
You can modify the length of the foot by adding or removing the number of rounds that your size requires. The same for the length of the leg, you can add rounds until to length of your choice.
Size:
To fit foot 21-23cm / 8-9in circumference
Shoe size: women´s EU 38-40
Measurements:
Finished foot circumference: 21cm / 8¼in
Length (toe to heel): 26.5cm / 10½in (adjustable)
Length (heel to cuff): 24cm / 9½in (adjustable)
Gauge:
22 stitches and 29 rounds to 10cm / 4in over stockinette stitch
25 stitches and 29 rounds to 10cm / 4in over colorwork pattern
Samples measured unstretched and after washing, using 3.5mm needle.
Yarn:
Katia Merino Classic (52% wool, 48% acrylic; 240 meters / 100 grams)
-1 ball of the main color (in the sample I used 35 grams of pistachio color, nº 18)
-1 ball of the contrasting color (in the sample I used 60 grams of blue color, nº 45)
Needles and notions:
-3.0mm circular needle for work one color (toe, heel, cuff) (with a cable long enough to work with the magic loop method) or your preferred type of needles for working small circumferences
-3.5mm circular needle for colorwork (with a cable long enough to work with the magic loop method) or your preferred type of needles for working small circumferences
-removable stitch marker, tapestry needle, scissors
