This is a beautiful, open work lace shawl worked using basic crochet stitches making it suitable for a beginner. The shawl after blocking measures 15 inches wide and 70 inches long. The length is adjustable. I used DK/light worsted weight yarn and a G/4 mm crochet hook. You will need about 550 meters of yarn for this shawl.
