Julie Poncho
Our JULIE PONCHO consists of two separate and mirrored parts. Once finished, the two parts are sewn on the side of the rows, leaving the desired neckline open.
Alternatively, if you don’t like sewing, you can cast on twice as many stitches as indicated for a single part and work in one piece to the point where you need to leave the space open for the neck. In this case, you will continue working with two balls of yarn at the same time, one for the right side and one for the left side.
You will then put the work together once you have finished opening the neck.
The strong personality of JULIE PONCHO is given by its soft fluttering fringes. Once the body is finished, they will be applied along its entire perimeter, inserting a fringe inside each stitch worked, both on the side of the stitches and on that of the rows.
This will necessarily involve some time and patience but the result will be very impressive and satisfying.
