Julie Summer Tank is a cropped summer top, designed using different structural stitch patterns. The top is knit up top down, starting with the straps. The pattern includes different instructions to finish off the garment – with a short peplum, with a longer peplum for some additional length, or simply with a twisted rib. In addition, the instructions provide you with two length options so that you can select the version that best fits your body.

Sizing
The instructions are available in 10 sizes. Since cotton, especially when knit up in structural stitch patterns and ribbing, tends to grow with washing and wear, the top was designed with a lot of negative ease – 10-20 cm, depending on your size. If you decide to go with yarn that does not have the tendency to grow as much as cotton, silk or linen and if you are between sizes, then please consider doing the bigger size. Be aware that the pattern was only tested for the recommended yarn.

Sizes 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8) 9 (10) have a final width of 74 (77) 84 (90) 96 (103) 110 (119) 126 (133) cm after finishing the garment. Due to the characteristics of the recommended yarn, the sizes are recommended for a bust circumference of 83 – 88 (88 – 94) 94 – 100 (100 – 107) 107 – 114 (114 – 121) 121 – 128 (128 – 135) 135 – 142 (142 - 149) cm.

You will need a 3 mm circular needle or another needle size to best fit the provided gauge.
