The pretty lace motif is a short pattern repeat and easy to memorise. Worked top-down from a garter stitch tab, I designed the concentrated lace pattern to be worked on the shorter rows, then the long rows of the garter stitch border act as a therapeutic rhythm leading up to the prettily fluted edging.
