MATERIALS
2-5 50g balls of Cygnet Pure wool superwash DK (pictured in ‘Gold’) or other double-knitting wool
A pair of 4mm knitting needles
A tapestry needle (for sewing ends)
One large button or three smaller buttons

SIZES & MEASUREMENTS
Baby sizes: 0-6, 6-12, 12-18 months
Childrens sizes: 18 months-2 years, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8 years

TENSION
21 stitches and 28 rows over 10cm (4”) square using stocking stitch and 4mm knitting needles

TECHNIQUES
Casting on, casting off – Russian bind off method, knit and purl stitches, increasing and decreasing, fully-fashioned seams, button loops using the I-cord technique
