Description:
Worked top down this uniquely shaped shawl give tons of room and warmth up front, while still keeping length in the back. Pockets and Hood worked separately and attached.
Material:
4 weight Yarn, 5.5mm hook, 1 stitch marker
I USED:
5.5mm hook, I love this yarn - Hobby Lobby in mint lace, 1,800yds
Pocket and Hood optional
Pocket: 35yds/20g each
Hood: 300yds/165g
Gauge:
13dc (4 inches) x 3 rows (2 inches)
It is recommended you block your project so that you can get a nice, even drape.
Measurements:
Back of the neck, down to the front of the shawl, 31 inches lightly blocked.
Length from the back of the neck, down to the back point at the bottom, 37 inches, lightly blocked. You can do more or less repeats to get a longer or shorter shawl.
Abbreviations:
ch - chain
Dc - Double Crochet
Sc - Single Crochet
Sk - Skip
St - Stitch
Chsp - chain space
Stdc - Stacked sc to create dc
