This child’s cardigan is knit using several stitches and knitting techniques including the beautiful butterfly stitch, stockinette stitch, 1x1 ribbing and tubular cast and bind off. It is knit from the bottom up, starting with a border in 1x1 rib, then stockinette stitch with a butterfly stitch pattern along each side of the button placket.

The sleeves are knit with a 1x1 rib cuff followed by stockinette stitch. They are then joined to the body of the sweater where decreases form the raglan part of the sleeve.

The neckline is in 1x1 rib with a tubular bind off that gives a smooth finish to the cardigan.

Ce petit gilet pour enfant est tricoté avec plusieurs points et techniques de tricot dont le joli point papillon, le jersey endroit, le montage en côtes 1x1 et le rabattage tubulaire.

Il se tricote de bas en haut en commençant par le bord côte en côtes 1x1, puis en jersey endroit avec le point papillon le long de la patte de boutonnage qui se tricotera à la fin.

Les manches sont tricotées en rond et en jersey endroit, puis assemblées au corps afin de tricoter les diminutions qui formeront les raglans, pour terminer par une encolure en côtes 1x1.

Le rabattage tubulaire à l’encolure et aux poignets va apporter une jolie finition au gilet.
