Inspired by the beautiful freedom of July. Throughout the month of July we celebrate our freedom in the USA. The distant silhouette of birds fly free from the branches of a tree, off into the distance while leaves scatter blissfully to the ground.

This afghan block is the seventh block in a series of 12 for the Year of the Afghan. Every first Tuesday of the month I will release the newest square throughout 2015.
