For July, I’ve been inspired the glossy leaves of the monstera plant, more commonly known as the Swiss Cheese plant. Place your bets on whether there will be a cheese themed square at some point! As well as knitting these squares, I’ve included some optional embroidered embelishments, to add some depth and texture to the squares.

In this pattern, you’ll find a list of suggested materials and the colourwork charts. Keep knitting throughout the year to create a 2022 blanket, or have a go at ‘Advent KALendar’ challenge (not just for advent) which contains the main 24 patterns used in the original mega blanket.
