This triangular shawl was inspired by the beautiful, luxurious yarn, Juniper Moon Farms Findley, a blend of even amounts of silk and fine wool with subtle gradients of deep purples and charcoal/ browns. Because the color-way reminded me of a moody summer’s night, I gravitated to silver and gold beads, the stars in the sky, or maybe the fireflies as embellishments.

This is a smallish shawl, light weight, perfect for wearing while gazing at its namesake, the July Sky. However, by adding a third eyelet repeat, the size would be significantly enlarged with no effort at math required! It is also a forgiving knit. Stitch counts are included for every section, but getting off count is of little consequence and easily corrected, by those inclined, by adding a discrete knit front and back as needed. Gauge is not critical.

Beading instructions are readily available on the internet for those needing a refresher or for those who are new to the process.
