The July top is knitted top down on short circular needles and has a negative ease around the bust and positive ease at the waist creating an A shape. Since the top is knitted top down it is easy to custum fit the top and try on as you knit and to adjusting the length or the increases. This way it is possible to cast on stitches for a large to gain longer shoulder straps and wider front and back but knitting a size small or medium with fewer increases and shorter length or the other way around.
For the blackhill Linwood 4-5 skeins (200-250 gr.) depending on size and length.
