This pattern was made for cotton yarn. It has a smooth side for washing, a bumpy side for scrubbing and a hanger so you can hang it on your faucet for complete drying.

You make two separate panels and stitch them together so it is very thick and will hold the suds well. This pattern does not require a sponge inserted between the two panels, but you can certainly do that if you wish. It is large enough.

You can make two full jumbo dish scrubbers from one ball of cotton yarn.

I have provided detailed written directions for the double crochet two together stitch that is not considered a decrease.

Gauge is not important.
