GARMENT DESCRIPTION: Straight silhouette / loose fit / square neckline / long sleeve

SIZES (bust, cm) for the height from 160-175 cm / 5’2” - 5’9”:

• XS (74–80)
• S (84–90)
• M (94–98)
• L (102–106)
• XL (110-114)

MATERIALS
I used yarn:
Worsted weight yarn 50 g - 150 m / 1.7 oz - 164 yards
ALTA MODA COTOLANA Lana Grossa (45 % merino wool, 45% pima cotton, 10% polyamide): 50 g – 150 m
Needed (first number – main color, second number – contrasting color for the stripes):

• XS – 350,100 g;
• S – 400,100 g;
• M – 400,100 g;
• L – 450,100 g;
• XL – 450,150 g.

Recommended substitutions of the yarn (based on the yarn successfully used by testers):

1. Prisma Seam 50 g – 145 m (70% merino wool, 30% viscose)
2. De Rerum Natura, Albertine 50 g – 200 m (90% organic merino d’Arles, 10% silk)
3. Gazzal Jeans 50 g – 170 m (58% cotton, 42% acrylic)
4. Alize Cotton Gold 100 g – 330 m (55% cotton, 45% acrylic)

• yarn substitutes #3, #4 don’t work perfectly using Italian cast on method, use classic cast on method.
• You can use any yarn (cone or skeins) that is similar in weight and length that meets the gauge.
• When substituting yarn pay closer attention to the yarn content, it has to be similar to the original, otherwise you might need more yarn!

Gauge: (measured after garment was washed!)

• 24 sts * 32 r = 10 * 10 cm in “stockinette stitch”, using 4.5 mm needles.
• 24 sts * 28 r = 1010 cm in “zigzag” design (the main design of the garment) using 4.5 mm needles.

IMPORTANT! Pick your needles size individually depending on the gauge! E.g. if you are using different yarn that is similar in yardage you can meet the gauge by using smaller or bigger size needles.
