About the design:

The jumper is knit from the top down.
At the beginning you work back and forth over both the fronts and the back with garter stitch and button holes at the placket, pattern on the sleeves, and raglan increases for shaping.
When the placket is finished, the work is joined into a round and worked in the round from then on.
