June 2013 Knit-a-long Square

Waco Knitter’s 2013 Knit-and-Crochet-a-Long is a seven-month long project that will challenge you to try new stitches and patterns. Each month we will provide a knitted and a crochet pattern and turn it into a 12″x12″ square. At the end of the year you will have 6 (or more) unique squares you can use to make a beautiful blanket.

This Knit-a-long square consists of a raised diamond pattern, which uses simple knits and purls to create a nicely textured fabric.
