Some things are just too easy to be true! But, not in this case!!! Grab yourself some colorway yarn and let it do the majority of the fancy work.

Simplicity of stitches add another layer of ease. Yarn overs, Knit 2 together are the backbone of this pattern, especially in the open mesh border.

And blocking……never had one done so quick. The slipped stitch garter straight edge leaves an open pattern to weave wires in and out of. Anchor these and then pin out the points. DONE!!!! Pictures included in the pattern.

Shaping is all done on the left side of the middle stockinette area with Make 1 and K2tog. The curve can be easily changed by adjusting these stitches. Length….Well I will have to admit that at the end of 1 skein I started to reverse the shaping process and became a little ((a lot )concerned I would run out of yarn the closer to the end I got. Sometimes trust in your figures, it worked out perfect. You can chose your own length or use the pattern repeats.

Materials needed for this project are with Fingering yarn.
875 yds. Fingering weight yarn ( 14 wpi )
Size 4, 3.50 mm knitting needles
4 stitch markers

Materials needed for Sport weight yarn:
800 yds. Sport weight yarn ( 12 wpi )
Size #5 Knitting needles.

As with most scarves and wraps, different weight can easily be substituted, just be aware the overall effect does change somewhat.

Hope you enjoy your new project.
