June's Baby Hoodie
This is a pattern passed down from my grandmother and along with a baby set pattern, has been trusted to me to keep the family stockpile going. I hope you enjoy it as much as our family and friends have.
The needle sizes are written in UK sizes so I think that translates to 4.5mm and 6mm so that’s what I’ll keep it at unless someone wants to correct me.
I will add more cute photos in the morning.
Much thanks to ruthrichgerry for finding an old copy of the pattern from McCall’s. here’s the info passed on to me:
“The pattern that I had from 22 years ago. Minor changes = 1st six rows are ribbing on 4 MM needles before starting pattern. And the draw string goes in the brim; not the neck. AND WHAT YOU REALLY WANTED TO KNOW: Original pattern is in McCall’s Super Baby Book Vol 1 but it doesn’t call for ribbing on the bottom. “
