The Junie Baby Beanie is an easy, beginner friendly crochet pattern. You will need to know how to use the Half Double Crochet in the round, and simple embroidery techniques before starting this pattern. This lightweight hat is ideal for babies born in any season.

Materials

• Yarn : Any worsted weight yarn (category 4), 100% acrylic
• You will need 2 colors.
• Crochet Hook : H/8 (5.00mm) or hook to obtain gauge
• Scissors
• Tapestry Needle
• Stitch Markers
• Embroidered Flowers : DK weight (category 3) yarn. For each flower, you will need approximately 24” of yarn.

Experience Level - Beginner

You will need to know how to make a Magic Ring, Half Double Crochet, and increase stitches before starting this pattern.

This pattern also uses a simple embroidered flower suitable for beginners.
