What’s this? This is the Juniper crochet shawl.

Why should I make this? The Juniper crochet shawl pattern is designed with repeating - but not repetitive - geometric sections that are semi-unpredictable, kinda like their namesake, Joon.

When will this get the most use? To dress up a casual outfit or complete a more formal one.

Who is it for? Any fan of hand-dyed yarn, shawls, or lacy scarves.

Where do I start? This pattern is rated Intermediate - you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches and colour changing. You will need 300 g of fingering weight yarn (100 g of each of 3 fading colours) and a 3,75 mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle and 2 stitch markers.

Qu’est-ce que c’est ? C’est le châle Juniper.

Pourquoi je l’aime tant ? Le châle au crochet Juniper a été créé à partir de sections géométriques qui se répètent, sans être répétitives… un peu comme Joon qui leur a prêté son nom.

Quand sera-t-il utile ? Pour habiller une tenue décontractée, ou pour compléter une tenue plus formelle.

À qui s’adresse ce modèle ? Tous les fans de laine teinte à la main, de châles, ou de foulards élégants.

Je commence où ? Modèle Intermédiaire – vous devez être confortable avec les mailles de base (ou avoir envie d’apprendre le crochet) et les changements de couleur. Vous aurez besoin de 300 g de laine de poids « fingering » (100 g de chacune de 3 couleurs « fade ») et d’un crochet 3,75 mm. Vous aurez aussi besoin d’une aiguille à laine et de 2 marqueurs.
