Construction
The vest begins with a split hem that is knit separately, after which the pieces are joined and the cable patterns are worked in the round until the armhole opening. Stitches are picked up for the neckline, and mitred decreases are worked to shape the V-neck. Finally, stitches are picked up and worked for the armhole edge.
