Jupiter’s Wave is a slouchy hat, with plenty of length to pull down over your ears. Make a nice dense pompom to provide some weight to keep the back of the hat down (and to give a pop of contrast color at the top of the hat, too!) A mosaic-knitted colorwork band above the ribbed brim is the main focal point of the hat. Go subtle with your color choices (like the colors shown here), or go bold with a more highly contrasting color combination. The textured stitch pattern above is easy to memorize and keeps the knitting from being boring. The merino cashmere yarn makes for a luxuriously soft hat that is sure to keep you warm and cozy.
