I recently crocheted a blanket entirely out of flowers. The pattern for it is called the Just the Flowers Blanket because when I crochet flower blankets, I usually turn the flowers into granny squares before joining them. After I finished the blanket, I made this pillow to match it! The pattern for the flower is a little bit different than the ones in the blanket as it is larger. I used the same yarn and colors that were in the blanket, and I ended up making this pillow twice because I made a second one while filming the video tutorial! The backs of both pillows are purple granny squares.
For the cream pillow, I used Paintbox Cotton Aran Yarn (93 yd/ 50 g skeins; 100% cotton): 2 pale lilac, 1 vanilla cream, 1 ballet pink, 1 vintage pink, 1 slate green, 1 pistachio green, and 1 mustard yellow. For the light pink pillow, the yarn is the same, but it does not include the vintage pink. However, any medium weight yarn should work well! You will also need a 14 by 14 in (35 by 35 cm) pillow insert and 5 buttons (2 cm in diameter). The buttons allow the pillowcase to be taken on and off the insert.
The pattern includes some pictures to demonstrate some of the steps. There is also a link to the video tutorial on my YouTube channel that demonstrates how to make the front side. I hope you enjoy the pattern!
