There’s no surprise that I love cowls - they are usually fast projects and perfect when you have a limited amount of luxury yarn or limited time to make a gift.
And secretly sometimes I wish that New Zealand weather will be cooler so I could wear these for longer!

This cowl was designed for 1 x 100g Noro Miyabi or 1 x 100 g of Rosarios4 Montemor, but will work with other dk/worsted yarns. I like the transition of colours in both yarns and if these yarns are not accessible to you, try to find a self striping or fading hank so you could enjoy more colours!

I truly want people to be able to use some luxury yarns and I’m trying to come with designs that will use a small amount (1 hank).

The cowl starts with an i-cord then a small section of stockinette and then it’s worked in half fisherman rib, while still keeping the i-cord on one side.

Gauge is 16st/10cm - please note this stitch is very squishy and will grow with blocking so make sure the blocking is gentle.
