Just a thirsty bat
Experiments in crochet.
It started last week as a weird idea while decluttering my yarn stash. I had some brown leftover yarn, and since I am catching up on watching the Walking Dead , I decided to try to crochet myself a Lucille. You know, when nerdspiration hits you don’t fight it.
No idea if Negan would approve, but hey… I guess he would cuddle that bat.
I made the pattern up as I went, so she’s far from being perfect, but I don’t care. This thing amuses me to no end, and makes for a surprisingly cuddly pillow while watching TV… plus smashing stuff is fun.
It is not as stiff as I hoped (I had a vague idea of using a pool noodle as stuffing - didn’t work out in the end), but it is OK to pose with.
Into this went 4 or 5 days of work (not whole days, just a couple of hours here and there), 6.5 skeins of brown yarn, 1 skein of grey yarn and roughly 1 kilo of polyester fibrefill.
It was fun!
This pattern is untested and made up of my notes. If there are major issues with it, LMK. Have fun!!
