Just Be Held
Hold it all together
Everybody needs you strong
But life hits you out of nowhere
And barely leaves you holding on
And when you’re tired of fighting
Chained by your control
There’s freedom in surrender
Lay it down and let it go
So when your’e on your knees and answers seem so far away
You’re not alone, stop holding on and just be held
Your worlds not falling apart, it’s falling into place
I’m on the throne, stop holding on and just be held
Just be held, just be held
~ Casting Crowns, “Just Be Held”, Thrive
For those times when life just hits you out of nowhere and the grey skies seem to overwhelm the hope of tomorrow. This over-sized, triangular shawl is the perfect hug that you can wrap yourself up in when you just need to be held. The body of the shawl is knit in stockinette, with easy color changes for the stripe pattern, and the border is knit in a simple lace pattern.
