This pattern is inspired by my dance-instructor, Emma, and a particular dance we had in class - based on a newer version of the song ‘What should we do with the drunken sailor’! - believe me, it is GREAT FUN!

The potholders are worked in 2 colours in 8/4 cotton (1 skein of each). I chose some more fun neon-kind of colours, just to get a disco-feeling … but any 2 colours will work, just they need to be contrasting, in order to get the figure out more clearly.

When working with a 3mm hook, the potholders are about 22 x 23 cm - but it all depends on how tight you crochet.
