This strange little pattern came to me in a dream. Well, a nightmare, really. I kept dropping stitches, and they kept unravelling and unravelling and the sweater kept getting wider and wider, and DUDE, I need to CHILL. The construction of this cowl is unique in that, instead of changing the stitch count to adjust the fit and circumference, strategically placed rows of dropped stitches create the belled bottom. Functional and stylish? Add to that the absolute joy of letting those stitches purposefully unravel? Oh, baby.
