Just Fluttering By
This blanket was made using 9 squares (5 of Just Fluttering By and 4 of The Old Stone Wall). Each square measures 12”.
As this pattern is part of a CAL, hosted by the Facebook group CAL Crochet Along, it will be released in 3 parts. The first part is Just Fluttering By, the second part is The Old Stone Wall, and the final part, the joining and border is Just Fluttering By the Old Stone Wall.
It was designed with a beautiful rose garden in mind, that I frequently go to in the summer months. There are roses of many colors, beautiful butterflies and an old stone wall as the backdrop.
For my blanket I used 4 colors of Herrschners’ Worsted 8 yarn. My testers, Jerrilynn and Joke used yarn they had on hand and their blankets are awesome and colorful, a delight to the senses. Joke even made a beautiful bag using two of the squares and Jerrilynn will be making a pillow. Therefore, you are not limited to creating a blanket only.
Yarn amount requirements are included in pattern if using the 4 colors like mine.
The pattern is easy to follow and includes detailed photos.
