Just keeping Warm Hat and Cowl set was our Winter KAL 2021.

The hat begins by knitting the brim in rows. Then, the top is added on by picking up stitches around the brim. The top is then knit in the round.

This pattern sets consists of a Cable Slouch Hat and Cowl. These are both seamless.

There are 5 different sizes for this set:

Hat:
Toddler: 9” (23 cm) x 16” (40.5 cm)
6 - 12 years: 10” (25.5 cm) x 18”(45.5 cm)
Adult S: 10.5”(26.5 cm)x 19” (48 cm)
Adult M: 11” (28 cm) x 20” (51 cm)
Adult L: 11.5” (29 cm)x 21” (53.5 cm)

Cowl:
Finished Sizes: (height x length)
Toddler - 8” (20.5 cm) x 16” (40.5 cm)
6 - 12 years - 9.5” (24 cm) x 18” (45 cm)
Adult S- 11.5” (29ncm) x 19” (48 cm)
Adult M- 11.5” (29 cm) x 20.5” (52 cm)
Adult L- 11.5” (29 cm) x 22” (56 cm)

This set was designed with Knit Picks Swish yarn. However, any worsted weight yarn will work.

Amount of yarn required for the Slouch Hat:
Toddler: 150 yards (140 m)
6 - 12 years: 175 yards (160 meters)
Adult Small: 200 yards (180 meters)
Adult Medium: 225 yards (200 meters)
Adult Large: 250 yards (225 meters)

Amount of yarn required for Cowl:
Toddler: 175 yards (160 meters)
6 - 12 years: 220 yards (200 meters)
Adult Small: 280 yards (255 meters)
Adult Medium: 300 yards (270 meters)
Adult Large: 325 yards (300 meters)
