The Just Marl It Pillow matches my Just Marl It Throw. For both, I used a technique where two contrasting colored strands of yarn are held together to produce a marled effect. The Just Marl It Pillow uses two solid-color stonewash yarns and one brightly-colored variegated yarn to create the marl effect, while the colors shift across the pillow.

Using a K hook and holding two strands together you will crochet two identical squares, crochet them together and insert an 18 inch purchased pillow form.

I used two colors of I Love This Yarn Stonewash (one light, one dark), and one I Love This Yarn Print (variegated). This yarn makes the pillow casing durable and washable. You can use the same yarn as I did, or choose any three colors you want, or crochet the pillow with one solid color.

Crochet both the pillow and the throw to match your room decor and add them to a bed or a sofa for a pretty handmade touch.
