Just My Style Hat is an easy free crochet hat pattern available in 10-sizes. The hat pictured is a child size hat (sized to fit approximately 7-10 years) but my son Drew wanted to join in for the photo shoot so you will see him sporting this hat himself - he has just turned 6.

It is a tiny bit too big for him still but you will also see Darla wearing it in another photo and it fits nicely (she is 8 years old in 2 weeks).

The hat is crocheted in a simple repeat pattern of double crochet stitches.

I have included instructions to allow you to make this hat in two different lengths but you can easily size it to fit - any head size or height. The stitch pattern repeat is made up of sets of 4 stitches.

You can increase and decrease the height easily - 2 rounds of double crochet are approximately 1 inch. The final edging rounds (4 rounds of single crochet) total 1 inch as well.

Gauge

approximately 3 sts per inch

approximately 2 rounds worked in the stitch pattern, per inch

You can substitute any yarn and hook for this stitch pattern - just remember when you substitute if your gauge is different, the finished size of your project will also be different.
