The socks are worked in a sport weight cotton/lycra blend The sample was made in Elann “Esprit” , but Cascade “Fixation” should work just as well. Sized for a woman’s medium to large foot, a pair takes two 50 gm balls.

Directions are given for working top down on a set of five double pointed needles, at a gauge of 24 sts = 4 inches in stockinette.
