This pattern has been written for 18 inch American Girl dolls or 16 inch Sasha dolls and is designed as underwear but works even better as a two piece bathing suit with a bottom and tankini top.

The methods are the same but the needle sizes create the pieces for different dolls.

The underwear fits the Kidz and Cats dolls if you knit the Sasha size.

The pieces use very little yarn so its great for stash busting.

I preferred buttons holes for the shoulder closings, but I did try snaps and crocheting a loop for the buttons.
