My fervent desire is that people thoughtfully vote in all elections, but especially in the 2020 USA presidential election. America has some appalling voter turnout rates. THUS, the “just vote just” hat was born. It’s intended to be read as “just vote” or “vote just” or, preferably, BOTH.

Special USA proud kits are available for the yarn shown on my website. The navy yarn is special yarn that remained after the 2014 USA Olympic sweaters were made for the team. Both it and the natural yarn are domestic USA merino blends, which just made sense for this USA PROUD hat! Add an optional yarn pom pom and leather tag (as shown) or a red pom pom for that red, white and blue look.

The overall shape is slightly slouchy. Stranded colorwork is used to create the letters. If you have not done this before, I recommend looking up ways to keep your tension loose and to catch floats when they are several stitches wide.
