Just a little beanie/skull cap for throwing on when the weather is chilly.

To fit: Teens/Adult (M)

Materials: 1 skein worsted weight (aran/10ply) in each of two colours, Colour A and Colour B; 4.5mm (Teens) or 5mm (Adult) hooks; yarn needle.

Gauge: 19 sts and 14 rows hdc on 4.5mm = 4”

This pattern calls for working with 2 colours at once for the first part, the easiest way to do this is to carry both along with you and as you cross them, cross them one way for a few stitches, then cross them the opposite way for the next few stitches. That way, you keep the yarn from tangling when switching colours every other stitch. It’s fiddly at first, but once you get the hang of it, you will find it becomes much easier.

If you are not comfortable with switching colours mid-row, you can work rows 1-6 in one colour only.
