This awesome wall hanging pattern was based on the meme version of the James Webb Space Telescope - Jelescope Welescope Space Telescope!

The free version of the pattern, available on my blog, has just the telescope design, and the paid PDF includes the tapestry crochet text portion.

You will need: Approximately 315 yards black, 60 yards yellow, and 45 yards white worsted weight yarn (I used Caron Simply Soft); 4mm and 5mm crochet hooks; a wooden dowel of your preferred length; stitch markers; scissors; and a tapestry needle.

The full hexagons are about 2 inches by 2 inches.

This pattern requires knowledge of magic circles, chaining, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and tapestry crochet. The hexagons are joined together with slip stitches and the pattern includes video tutorials for the slip stitch joining and tapestry crochet. This is an intermediate level pattern and may be challenging to beginners.

Feel free to sell finished items made with this pattern as long as you credit me as the designer and link back to my shop :)
