This slouchy hat has a folded brim to keep the hat in place. It is knit in the round, and knits up very quickly. A great way to use your left over yarns!
I got the inspiration from seismic interpretations. The seismic output itself is a grey, textured background, and the interpreter then ads the colourful lines to indicate the boundaries between the various geological layers. The colours used are normally the basic colours red, green and blue.
One of the most distinct geological boundary I can think of is the K-T boundary, slang for Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary.
K-T BOUNDARY:
Transition between the Cretaceous and Tertiary periods of geologic time characterized by a mass extinction of many forms of life including the dinosaurs; also : a geologic stratum marking this boundary. The K-T boundary is exposed along a 120m shoreline at Stevns Klint, Denmark
