MATERIALS AND TOOLS
• Yarn for the body and the head – white fancy yarn – I used 18 g of “Puf” by Lanoso (100% polyester, 160m/100g).
• Yarn for the hats and scarves (you can use acrylic, wool, etc.) – I used “Bambino” by Nako (25% wool, 75% acrylic, 130m/50g): 6 g of orange; 8 g of red; 10 g of yellow; small amount of black.
• 3.0 mm knitting needles for the body and the head, 2.5 mm knitting needles for the hats and scarves, 2.0 mm knitting needles to knit the nose (optional).
• A piece of cardboard – I used it to make a circle 2 cm/0.8 inches in diameter to strengthen the top of the top hat.
• Transparent glue.
• Stuffing.
• A pair of black beads for the eyes for each snowman (total six) – I used 6 mm in diameter.
• Three black half beads for the buttons for each snowman (total nine) – I used 6-7 mm in diameter.
• A ready-made plastic nose – you can knit them instead (instructions are given).
• Any decoration for the hat (optional) – I used a star made of foil (you can use a button instead).
• Golden cord – I used 20-25 cm (7.9-9.8 inches) long.
• Crochet hook.
• A pompom maker (optional).
• Brush (optional) to brush up the body if needed.
