Elegant and practical the Kabel Beret is fun to knit. The band is worked separately to the main part of the hat and sewn on after.

Worked in the round you will need 4mm dpns or a long circular to work magic loop. Alternatively you could start on a 40cm circular and change to dpns in the decreasing.

The Kabel Beret takes about 100g/ 210m of DK yarn.
