Kaia Cowl is Norwegian-inspired stranded colorwork in two colors.

Approximately 11 inches long and 20 inches around, this is a snug cowl to keep out the winter chills. You will need about 200 yards of the main color and 90 yards of the contrast color, in fingering weight yarn (sample uses Rowan Valley Tweed in Gordale and Malham).

The cowl could be easily adjusted in size by working more or fewer repeats of the stitch pattern, both around and in length, although this will affect yarn requirements.
