Kaie is a top down hat that features a slip stitch pattern that shows off variegated yarn and reduces pooling. The top down design lets you maximize the use of your yarn. The pattern suggests leaving about 20g of yarn for the ribbing, but if you like cutting things close try leaving about 11-14g instead.
