About:
Available in both in the round and flat versions, this is a very simple eyelet mock cable ribbed hat, perfect to keep your baby, child, or yourself warm and snuggly for those colder months. A repeat of just 4 rows, makes for a great beginner pattern, or something easy to knit when you feel like relaxing and keeping those fingers moving. Knit up in DK supersoft merino, it will be a wonderful winter knit.
Skill Level: Easy
Recommended Yarn: Patons Merino Extrafine DK, 100% Virgin Merino.
Needle Size: 3.5mm Circulars and 4mm Circulars.
This hat is knit in the round using a magic loop method.
Or alternatively there is a knitted flat version of this pattern.
Gauge: 10x10cm = 22 stitches x 30 rows stocking stitch on 4mm needles.
Yardage: 50g = 120m (131yds)
Baby Sizes 1x50g balls. Child/Adult sizes 2x50g =100g of recommended yarn.
