Kaja top is an easy-to-knit top with a fun design that gives it a sophisticated look. The top is identical at the front and back with a neckline on both sides, and a loose fit. Kaja top is a little trickster that looks like it is difficult to knit, but in reality, it is very easy.

Construction:
Kaja top is knitted in the round from the top down with increases starting in the center and flaring out to create a triangular shape. The shoulder sts are knitted in pearl rib k1p1, and the yoke is knitted in stockinette stitch. The body is knitted in the round in stockinette stitch, and the slits are knitted in pearl rib. The short sleeves are knitted in pearl rib.

Circumference: 98 (106) 110 (118) cm 38.5” (41.75”) 43.25” (46.5”) inches.
For bust circumference approximately: 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) cm 33.5”-35.5” (35.5”-37.5”) 37.5”-39.5” (39.5”-43.25”)
Whole length: 58 (61) 62 (65) cm 22.75” (24”) 24.25” (25.5”) inches measured from the top of the shoulder. The top is slightly cropped, but can be knitted longer if you prefer.
Approximately 10-15 cm 3.75”-5.75” inches positive ease.

Yarn:
You can use the yarn of your choice as long as it matches the gauge.
I recommend making a swatch that you wash before measuring the gauge.

Yarn suggestion 1: Single strand. 250 (300) 300 (300) grams of Sandnes Line (approximately 110 m 120 yards per 50 grams).

Yarn suggestion 2:
Two strands of thin yarn held together.
250 (300) 300 (300) grams of Sandnes Tynn Line (appr. 220 m 240 yards per 50 grams) two strands held together.
If you knit with two colors held together, 150 (150) 150 (150) grams of Sandnes Tynn Line (appr. 220 m 240 yards per 50 grams) of each color.

Yarn suggestion 3: One strand thin linen yarn ie; Sandnes Tynn Line (ca 220 m pr 50 g) 100 (150) 150 (150) gram held together with a thin mohair yarn ie: Rauma Plum (250 m pr 25 g) 50 (75) 75 (75) gram
