We’re excited to invite you to our Painting with Yarn Knit-Along (KAL)! This is more than just a knitting project—it’s an opportunity to explore the magic of color value in stranded knitting and create stunning designs with thoughtful contrasts.

This download includes two PDFs:

1️⃣ The Glitch Sweater Knitting Pattern – This is the sweater we’ll be knitting together during the KAL.

2️⃣ Workshop Paper: “Painting with Yarn – The Importance of Value in Stranded Knitting” – This in-depth guide is the foundation of the project, providing essential knowledge on how color value impacts stranded knitting.

Both resources work hand in hand to help you create a stunning, well-balanced colorwork sweater!

As if knitting together wasn’t fun enough, we’re also giving you the chance to win a prize just for participating in the Painting with Yarn KAL!
At the end of the KAL on March 4, 2025, we’ll select the winners based on who best understood and applied the concept of color value in stranded knitting.
