KAL Sweater
This project is super-easy and a quick knit, so also great for a beginner. All you need to know is how to knit and purl and you are ready to go.
If you use Brushed Alpaca Silk:
Your piece will be very airy and will ‘grow’ a bit bigger with wear (approx. 5 cm wider/longer than with Eskimo). If you like the sweater to be more fitted you can either knit 1 size smaller than usual OR change your needle size to 8mm instead of 9mm.
MATERIAL: DROPS Eskimo
650-750-800-900-950-1000g
Or use:
DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk
200-200-250-250-300-300g
- Knitting needles 9mm
- Tapestry needle
GAUGE: 10 sts x 18 rows in garter = 10 x 10 cm
