Kalasi
What about a quick trip to a nice tropical destination to chase away winter for good? Just right now; no traveling needed. When I picked the yarn for the Kalasi cowl, a vivid orange-red, bright orange sunsets popped in my mind. Imagine: Expenses of fine sand. Some palm trees. Waters so clear you could see right through down to the sea floor. And colors, so many colors changing throughout the day and night: turquoise, aqua, aquamarine, amber, peach, rust, crimson, garnet… From light to dark in an infinite range… The Kalasi cowl is inspired by these images and named after a village in the Bay of Bengal. The cowl has an easy all-over lace stitch pattern forming undulating lines like waves over the surface of the water. So join us for a quick adventure!
