Inspired by Nordic style colorwork, the Kaldt Cowl will get you started on stranded knitting. This cowl uses two colors, with resting sections of just one color. The length is manageable, using seven small charts.

This is the perfect project to practice your stranding technique, and maybe try out some different ways of managing yarns, because all floats (the wrong side of your knitting) will be completely hidden inside the tube! So no need to worry if things aren’t neat.
